Justice Abroad Assisting the Young Lady in New Ayia Napa Gang Rape Case

Justice Abroad’s Director Michael Polak is representing the young lady in the new Ayia Napa rape case following a request from her family.

In relation to the case the press have reported that the young lady has provided evidence to the Cypriot Police that she was attacked by five men at a hotel in Ayia Napa and that five men aged between 19 and 20 have been arrested by police and have appeared before Paralimni district court where they were remanded in custody for a further eight days on suspicion of rape.

Justice Abroad is an organisation set up to help those trying to find their way through justice systems overseas with all the associated hurdles that presents, to represent those facing gross breaches of their human rights no matter where this takes place, and to advise and assist the victims of crimes as to how to achieve justice.

Justice Abroad continues to represent the victim in the original Ayia Napa case which is currently before the European Court of Human Rights and represents victims of crime and others involved in cases around the world such as Greece, Antigua and Barbuda, China, Argentina, and Georgia.

Justice Abroad’s Michael Polak stated;

We represent the young woman in the new Ayia Napa rape case. Our client in this case is determined to see that justice is done.

She has been assisting the Cypriot Police with their investigations of this case and will continue to do so until she obtains justice.

This is obviously a very difficult time for our client and her family, and she asks that her privacy is respected during the criminal proceedings.

The family of the woman in this case are raising funds to provide her with support in this case. All donations made at www.crowdjustice.com/case/help-ayia-napa-rape-case are very much appreciated at this difficult time.
