JUSTICE ABROAD

“Here When You Need Us”

Justice Abroad’s Director Michael Polak is assisting the young lady in the new Ayia Napa rape case following a request from her family.

Hearings in the case were held between 18-20 September 2023 where the case set for trial on 5 October 2023 and the 5 defendants were remanded in custody. The defendants are charged with rape, sexual assault by penetration, sexual intercourse through violence, rape by compelling sexual penetration, indecent assault against a woman, sexual harassment, and abduction.

At the previous hearings the Court heard a summary of the evidence from the Prosecution which set out a horrific violent gang rape as well as from several staff members who had witnessed the aftermath of the alleged attack.

At the hearing on 5 October 2023 the defendants are expected to be arraigned in relation to the charges and to enter their pleas to the charges and prosecution is expected to open the case.

Justice Abroad’s Michael Polak stated;

We represent the young lady in this case, she is determined to make sure that justice is done.

At the last hearing the Court heard of horrendous evidence of a violent gang rape and at the hearing on 5 October 2023 the defendant will be asked for their pleas in relation to the charges.

The young lady will be given evidence at a future hearing which we hope will take place soon.

The family of the woman in this case are raising funds to provide her with support in this case. All donations made at www.crowdjustice.com/case/help-ayia-napa-rape-case are very much appreciated at this difficult time.
